Students for Trump, a pro-Trump group comprised of students, announced this very week that the President is now planning to talk later in the month at the convention center located in Phoenix. The date marked by the President is 23rd June, which is his 2nd visit to Phoenix since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, this visit comes at a time when the COVID-19 cases it at its highest, making the state a fierce battleground for the residents. Local health administration has also urged the residents to ensure they do not indulge or participate in large gatherings, be it indoors or outdoors. This is a prevailing concern that would come from the 23rd June visit by the President.

Debra Stark, the Phoenix Councilwoman, stated that the president surely has the right to pay a visit to the city. However, it is a matter of concern, given that this rally would attract the crowd and lead to a rampant increase in the total COVID cases.

The president is slated to visit the Phoenix mega-church known as the Dream City Church. This space flaunts a 6500 seating capacity within its auditorium. It is also among the largest sanctuaries located in America.
