The first movie was out back on May 11, 2018, and recently, the sequel was released on July 24, 2020, with more than 2 years of gap. Though the trend might not continue for the third one and as of now no exact release date is out from the creators or Netflix. At the end of the second outing, you must have seen how Elle came into the situation where she needs to decide whether to be with Noah at Harvard or obey the friendship promise to Lee and go to Berkeley.

Because she has a shortage of money which will only afford her to go, Harvard with the amount she won during Dance Dance Dance Mania with Marco. The competition ended with an unplanned kiss but Elle rejected Marco for Noah.
The synopsis for the third sequel is out now which points towards the decision that Elle makes, “It’s the summer before Elle heads to college, and she has a secret decision to make. She has been accepted into Harvard, where boyfriend Noah is matriculating, and also Berkeley, where her BFF Lee is headed. Which path should she choose?”
