Teenage Bounty Hunters, this freshly released show, is already the third most-watched web television show in the U.S on Netflix. And we speculate about a season 2 coming our way when the time permits. The 10-episode teenage action-drama is a binge-watch worthy, and you should watch it if you haven’t already. You might wrap it in a day or night if you’re a night owl like me.
The title stays true to its subject because the show is precisely what the name suggests. Sixteen-year-old twin sisters, Blair (Anjelica Bette Fellini) and Sterling Wesley (Maddie Phillips), tumble upon a bounty hunter named Bowser (Kadeem Hardison) who takes them as rivals.
Still, they end up helping him catching the “skip”. All in all, Blair and Sterling become bounty hunters, and they’re certainly good at it. Their life takes a turn, and now they have to juggle “work-life balance” while giving equal attention to high school.
Will there be a Season 2 of Teenage Bounty Hunters?
We’re sad to say, but Netflix hasn’t announced the second season officially. Yet, however, that’s completely normal because Netflix doesn’t decide until they see the ratings, popularity, and potential in the shows and movies they invest in. Plus, Teenage Bounty Hunters first installment only came on August 14, 2020.
Now, if we talk about when season 2 might come, it will be a relatively long journey. The show is filmed in Atlanta, and South U.S is currently still suffering from COVID-19. So, it might take some time to get under control even if the series is renewed. We could altogether expect the season 2 to release in late 2021 or early 2022.
Teenage Bounty Hunters Season 2 Cast
The first finale ended on a gripping cliffhanger. However, nobody was dead. Therefore, everyone will return as their respective characters. Anjelica Bette Fellini and Maddie Phillips are making their way back on our screen as Blair and Sterling Wesley since they’re the main protagonists in the show.
Along with them are Kadeem Hardison as Bowser, senior Wesley’s- Virginia Williams, and Mackenzie Astin as Debbie and Anderson Wesley. Besides, Virginia Williams will also play as Dana, Debbie’s twin sister. (check: Elite season 4.)
Season two will also add the “skips” for Blair and Sterling to chase. Blair might even get a new love interest since Miles, and her equation didn’t work out. It’ll also be heart-thumping and thrilling to watch April’s (Devon Hales) dad take his revenge on the twins after being released from jail.
Teenage Bounty Hunters Season 2 Plot
The second installment is supposed to answer the unattended questions in season one. For instance, the finale episode revealed that Blair and Sterling are not twin sisters, but cousins. It came to light when the evil sister of Debbie, Dana kidnapped Sterling. Blair and Bowser then saved her. Season two will enlighten all of us about the lie Wesley’s told their daughters for the last sixteen years. Now, this is some shady family business, I assume. Or maybe there was some severe reason as to what led the parents to lie to their daughter(s).
There was also a point where Bowser decides to end his partnership with Yolanda (Shirley Rumierk), Blair, and Sterling and move to Florida. On the love and relationship front, both the sister is going through difficult phases. Blair felt embarrassed after she confessed her love for Miles while April decided not to come out about Sterling’s feelings.
Teenage Bounty Hunters circle teens with extraordinary fates and professions, but at the same time, they indulge in issues like class, race, social standing, and sexual identity.
