Kye Rittenhouse is a 17-year-old teen arrested for shooting three Justice for Jacob Blake protesters with an AR-15 weapon. On Twitter, people shared photos of Rittenhouse walking on the streets with a gun. According to the reports of The New York Times and USA Today, two protestors died on Tuesday Night.

Out of those two who died, one of them is reported to have social media account named Anthony Huber, while the third victim was injured due to shot in the arm. Rittenhouse is currently in custody and will be charged with first-degree intentional homicide as shared on Twitter by USA Today’s reporter Nick Penzenstadler.

It all happened on the third night of protest in Wisconsin, where an “unidentified white man” was captured in the video shooting bullets at point-blank range on the street. After that, people on social media pointed Rittenhouse to affiliation with Kenosha Police and claimed to be a part of a “police explorer” program.

Koerri Elijah told Insider that the organized protest was ended after the curfew at 8 p.m., the police did their work of pushing crowds from the police station and courthouse. After this, chaos began, which was unorganized, and Looters and Rioters burned countless cars and businesses.

Seeing this, armed civilians came in groups for defending the town’s businesses. Around midnight, some arguments began between the militia and protesters in a non-violent way, said Elijah to Insider. Just after this, a young man is seen whose identity is now confirmed as Rittenhouse, and it didn’t felt like him to be part of any group.

Who is Kyle Rittenhouse?

The armed boy, Kyle Rittenhouse is from Antioch, Illinois, who allegedly shot protesters marching on the streets in Wisconsin. According to the complaint, the teen revealed that he “fled the state of Wisconsin with the intent to avoid prosecution for that offence.”

Josh Kaul, the Wisconsin Attorney General, said, “The violence and destruction that took place in Kenosha last night was despicable.

“While the two people who were killed and the person who was injured by gunfire have not yet been identified, we are thinking of their destroyed futures and their friends and families that must live with this overwhelming grief.”

As per the Wisconsin law, Rittenhouse is being charged as an adult said in an article of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Earlier in the day, Twitter users also shared a photo showing him volunteering to clean up BLM graffiti in Kenosha before defending himself against rioters.

What happened to Jacob Blake?

Jacob Blake, aka Jake, is a 29-year-old man who was shot by a police officer in Wisconsin while entering into his SUV. The shooting injuries paralyzed him from the waist down, and doctors are not confirmed about the time needed for his recovery.

The incident surfaced the social media after the footage showing his shooting went viral. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, he was going for the celebration of his son’s eighth birthday. He was shot by an officer seven times at the back in front of his three children who were seated in the SUV.
