Netflix’s Disenchantment Season 3 Release Date, Plot, Cast, Trailer and Everything You Need To Know

The American fantasy animated sitcom Disenchantment created by Matt Groening is a fairy-tale based show on Netflix. It has been popular among the viewers because of its story and characters. Recently, the second season was available in September 2019.

It left several cliffhangers in the mind of the viewers like the recovery of King Zog, Bean’s confession, or her trial proving herself not guilty in case of her dad’s injury. Moreover, Groening also confirmed that the show was started with an idea of 40 episodes with ten episodes in each season.

Disenchantment was the first show on Netflix by Groening. Previously, he created shows like The Simpson and Futurama but for the Fox Broadcasting Company.  He also said that he would be happy to continue his journey with Netflix.

Disenchantment Season 3 Release Date

The first installment was aired in August 2018. The sequel clearing all the cliffhangers of the first installment was available in September 2019. Due to the current conditions created by the pandemic coronavirus, the release dates of approximately all the shows have been affected. The date of release of Disenchantment is also subjected to delays. As per the news from its creator, the show is already in progress and will be out on Netflix once it is ready. So, we can expect a new season by the end of this year 2020 or the beginning of 2021. Let’s hope for the best.

Disenchantment Season 3 Cast

The cast of the show has been the same among the previous two seasons. – Abbi Jacobson gives the voice of some of the main characters as Bean, Eric Andre as Luci, Nat Faxon as Elfo, John DiMaggio as King Zog, Tress MacNeille as Oona, Maurice LaMarche as Odval, Lucy Montogomery as Bunty, Billy West as Sorcerio, Noel Fielding as Stan, Sharon Horgan as Queen Dagmar, Matt Berry as Prince Merkimer, David Herman as The Herald, etc.

The cast mentioned above seems to reappear as the cliffhangers are to be resolved. These characters are highly involved in the story. Some new characters may also be there to meet the needs of the plot.

Disenchantment Season 3 Plot

The first segment started with Bean as the princess of Dreamland. She was then married to Prince Merkimer to increase the powers of her father. She finds Luci-the demon and Elfo as her friends who stayed with her during the complete installment.

The season 2 resumed from the ending of the first run, resolving the previous thrills. Luci and Bean managed to escape from the Dagmar and her cousins’ custody with Luci’s powers. They also found Elfo in Heaven and sent him to Hell. Later, they help Elfo to retrieve his life.

In the end, King Zog was found injured, and the blame was put on Bean by Odval. The season unexpectedly ended with the uncertainty of King’s health and his recovery. Also, Bean, Elfo, and Luci were in trouble. Luci has lost his immortality.

Disenchantment season 3, like the previous installment, should start from resolving the cliffhangers of the last run. This should be all about the recovery of King and Bean trying to prove herself innocent in the blame of injuring her father. All the doubts will be cleared once the trailer is out on Netflix.
