In 2016, he came into limelight with the famous role of King T’Challa in Captain America: Civil War. In the same year, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. Everyone got stunned by the unexpected news. His cancer progressed to Stage 4 before 2020. While getting treated, Boseman continued to work in several films. His wife and family survive him.

Born on November 29, 1976, his full name was Chadwick Aaron Boseman, was an American actor and producer. In his film career, Boseman had been a part of several popular movies. He was born to Carolyn and Leroy Boseman and raised in Anderson, South Carolina. Boseman’s mother was a nurse while his father worked at a textile factory and managed an upholstery business. While promoting Get On Up in Europe, he got the call for the role of Black Panther.

Boseman’s Netflix project titled Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom was all set to release in 2020. The 1920s set musical drama was adapted from the play by Wilson. He was to star in and produce Yasuke, set in 16th century Japan, under his production banner of Xception Content. Boseman was to reprise his role in Black Panther 2.
