The American animated sitcom Central Park created by Josh Gad, Loren Bouchard, and Nora Smith is a comedy show on Apple TV. The show fascinated the animation lovers by its different plot and characters. With only one season being aired only on Apple TV, it has become popular among the viewers. The viewers are already waiting for its renewal.
The show contained ten episodes. The last episode ended with several cliffhangers about the main characters. It appeared that Bitsy was still not ready to give up on her evil plans to get the CP by hook or by crook. Molly and Brendan’s relationship was on a different turn. Also, in 2018 Apple announced that the show would contain two seasons with 26 episodes in total. At the same time, the present season comprises ten episodes. The remaining story is still to be presented in front of viewers.
So, we can say that there will be a renewal in the upcoming future. For further details like the release date, cast, and plot of the next season, keep reading the article to the end. Here is everything you need to know about it.
Central Park Season 2 Release Date
The series was first aired on May 29, 2020. Later one episode was aired each Friday till July 24, 2020, completing its ten episodes. Currently, there is no official news regarding the release date. But you need not worry about the renewal; it will be there for sure.
Having an eye on the current conditions created by the pandemic coronavirus, we may conclude a measurable delay in its renewal. The show may get a renewal announcement very soon. Though, the animated series is less impacted by corona as compared to the other web series. But we should not hope for any release date before the second half of the next year 2021.
Central Park Season 2 Cast
The voices in the current season for all the characters were quite perfect and suited to their personality. The main cast comprises Kristen Bell as Molly, Tituss Burgess as Cole and Kelleth, Daveed Diggs as Helen, Josh Gad as Birdie, Kathryn Hahn as Paige, Leslie Odom Jr. as Owen, Stanely Tucci as Bitsy, etc. (check: Gentefied season 2.)
In the last episode, there was a conflict for the voice of Molly given by Bell. In the second season, Emmy Raver-Lampman may replace Kristen Bell as molly Tillerman. The cast mentioned above should be the same in the second season. Some new faces are likely to be introduced by the writer as per the demand of the plot.
Central Park Season 2 Plot
Season 1 focused on the Tillerman family about their personnel problems in daily lifestyle. The Tillerman family contains Owen- the manager of central park, Paige-her wife, and two kids Molly and Cole. The family used to live in a castle. They got in a conflict with Bitsy Brandenham- the business entrepreneur. He wanted to replace the CP with a kind of shopping complex and other business development areas.
Birdie introduced the characters and plot to the audiences in the very first episode. All the members of the family were shown facing their issues. Owen was tensed about the management of CentralPark. Paige being a journalist, wanted to write a good story. Molly, who had a crush on Brendan, wants to be noticed by Brendan. Cole got the champagne that belongs to Bitsy and was somehow missed by Helen during a walk.
The entire story revolved around their personnel problems and the problems created by Bitsy to get CP for his convenience. He tried many times, like barring the funds from the Central Park League. He also hired several people like Dick Flake, who was an expert in catching fishes and earning money by selling them. In the upcoming season, Bitsy will be trying harder to get the park. Again, the family will be dealing with new difficulties to keep the central park out of Bitsy’s reach. Brendan’s love story and Molly may lead to a different level and bring some change in their quarrel with Bitsy as Brendan was the nephew of Bitsy.
